Due to the pandemic, the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) suspended the annual conference last year. This year, AAS decided to rerun the annual conference during 21st to 26th March, but in an online way. With the rapid development of technology, the traditional exhibition turned out to be a virtual one, helping scholars all over the world exchange the latest knowledge on asian study. Of course, the United Digital Publications (UDP) is definitely not absent from the extremely important ceremony.

This is the first time that UDP prepared for the virtual booth, which showed the detailed information of 10 UPD’s products, such as the latest launched database “The Continent Magazine Archive,” and the upcoming database “National Palace Museum Journals: Comprehensive Archive.” More surprisingly, UDP’s chief editor Nancy Wuu and product manager Jeff Fan both served as booth representatives in person, getting online to provide assistance to attendees during designated time by the “video chat” function.

During the annual conference, UDP’s booth attracted hundreds of attendees. Many attendees are highly interested in our products and applied for the trial of databases, so as to dig in valuable and exclusive contents mining on UPD’s databases. In the future, UDP will keep on providing high-value products to our guests, responding to their needs, and improving our products, which makes UDP the best and trustworthy database brand in the world.
